As a Fear Free certified facility we use positive reinforcement training methods to reshape behaviors. Our approach focuses on helping you build the relationship so your dog can be a happier, more balanced part of the family.

Our team includes Greyhound experts with years of experience who are also proud Greyhound owners. We specialize in greyhound training in Atlanta and even have four-legged staff members who assist with training and greyhound boarding services.

About GreyMatters Greyhound
Concierge Boarding for Greyhounds
GreyMatters offers boarding exclusively for Greyhounds. Safety, cleanliness and your hound's comfort are our top priority . Each guest has their own private 4'X8' spacious indoor, climate controlled kennel run. We provide elevated Kuranda style beds with padding. To help our guests feel more relaxed we use Adaptil pheremone plug ins and play Wholetones music for pets.

Customized Training Programs
Our obedience and behavior modification training is specifically tailored to Greyhounds and personalized to meet your needs. We offer the following options:

Certified and Experienced Trainers
Meet GreyMatters Owner, Kathy Marggraff CDT. She has adopted 8 Greyhounds of her own (and counting) and remains an active volunteer with Southeastern Greyhound Adoption. She is a founding member and was the Trainer for the prison program for Second Chance Greyhounds.
Kathy is a Certified Dog Trainer specializing in Greyhounds. She previously trained police dogs before adopting her first Greyhound. She also completed a one on one mentorship program in California with world renowned dog behavior expert, Cheri Wulff Lucas.
Kathy is passionate about helping dogs and their families enhance their relationship through training to reach their full potential. Her Greyhounds Niko and Skadi assist with training.
